Excellent copper-nickel coin struck within a large set from 1950 to 2001. To notice that Germany had used 5 different Mints. This piece was made at Stuttgart Mint. After the 2nd.World War (1939/1945), the different Allies Armys came from mainly from West and East. However the Russian coming from East had taken more territory than the USA, Britain and France. Politically the Russians had not changed their strong position and a pact was created at Potsdam, due to their intransigence the tree zones occupied by the western allies were built into the German Federal Republic, and the Russians decided to dissolve their occupation and created the German Democratic Republic on 1949. That state of affairs was the reason for the denominated Cold War, unchanged up to 1990.
