Extremely rare Georgian antique fire brush circa 1780

Description

I have on offer a hugely rare and beautifully conceived antique Georgian fire brush, that dates from around 1780.

It retains the original painted surface and water gilding in the fluted shaft. The brush is also original and is moulded in the form of a flaming torchere. The proportions of this are truly exceptional. It is a joy to admire.
