A Very Good Georgian Sterling Silver Basting Spoon.  Made in London, in 1788.  A Charming Old English Pattern Basting Spoon.  Engraved to the terminal with the initials LP       

Condition:

The Marks:  Makers mark rubbed, others Well Struck.

The Spoon:  Very Good.  No splits, dents or repairs. 

Hallmarks:

  • Lion passant 
  • Date letter n
  • Leopards head
  • George head duty mark 

Length:   Eleven and a half inches   29.5cm

Weight:   3.456ounces                      98grams
