A lovely example of a Georgian piece of furniture. This linen press is made from cuban mahogany and has solid wooden knob handles. All totaly original. The panels in the doors of the linen press are made from wonderful flared mahogany, as are the fronts of the drawers. The drawers themselves also have all their original locks sadly the top lock for the doors has been replaced, but does have a key. Please note the righthand door has a slight gap at the top caused by age, this is not noticeable when standing infront of the press, but can be seen if standing at the side, it is not a major problem and the door still closes, if however when you pick the item up and you are not happy we have a full money back guarantee. The inside of the top of the the press would originally have had four slides, these however have been taken out to make more room for hanging space. Please note the item splits into 2 half pieces at the middle horizontely for easier access to smaller spaces.
