Georgian Elm Tilt Top Occasional Table ca 1800

This beautiful antique Georgian elm tilt top occasional / wine / lamp / table has a circular one piece top which tilts, has a brass mechanism and stands on a beautiful bobbin shaped turned pedestal with tripod splayed legs. The piece is a rich golden elm colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Items of this age and quality are becoming very rare to find and they are not just a beautiful piece of furniture but also a very good investment. A piece of furniture of this quality should sell for around £1500. In a London antique shop it would have a price tag of well over £2000.

We do most of our own deliveries in the UK. Delivery is usually two men and fully assembled.
