Description:
This is a lovely quality two door large Georgian Design mahogany inlaid oval flame mahogany panelled hanging wardrobe armoire.  The wardrobe stands on its original bracket feet rising above which are two full height doors with flame mahoany cross-banding and a flame mahogany centre panel set in a boxwood strung oval, with original brass dropper handle, complete with original lock and working key.  The wardrobe is surmounted by a flame mahogany frieze and mahogany and boxwood strung cross-banded flared cornice.  When opened reveals an interior fitted with a single shelf to the left hand side labelled for hats, with two hanging compartments, one full height and one three-quarter.  There is a mirror on the reverse side of the right hand door.

The wardrobe dates circa 1950.

The wardrobe is all in very good condition, having just some minor wear marks to leading edges, mainly on the cornice, otherwise in very good condition.
