Description:

This is a lovely quality early 20th Century blue ground "Chinoiserie" cabriole leg bedroom / dressing table stool having a small raised back in classic George I design. The stool have an attractive vase shaped splat standing on cabriole legs with pad feet to the front, having moulded rails over with a very decorative vase shaped splat back with Chinoiserie figures with an inverted arch and re-entrant corners to the chair top. The frame has been re-painted with some of the Chinoiserie figures still visible on the vase shaped splat. The chair / stool has a red pink draylon upholsteres seat, the upholstery being a later addition. A very attractive little stool.
