Description
George III Carved Gilt Moulding Mahogany Toilet Mirror dating approximately 1780. This beautiful mahogany veneered on oak toilet mirror features a large drawer to center flanked by 2 smaller drawers. The oak drawer linings are finely dovetailed front and rear. The 2 smaller drawers feature delicate axe drop handles and the centre drawer carries key escutcheon. The front of the stand elegantly scrolls towards the base and the stand is supported by complementing bracket feet. The square tapering upright mirror supports feature brass finials to tops in 'fleur de lis' design. Dimensions : Height 25 x Width 17 x Depth 8 Inches
Condition Report
This mirror is a fine example and is in excellent condition and although the mirror glass appears not to be original the glass has character marks commensurate with old glass. The finials appear to have been replaced at some point in its long life but again are in keeping with this piece. This item is antique and character marks can be seen due to the age. Items are purchased as seen on the photographs. Whilst we make every endeavor to point out if there is any major damage, woodworm, restoration work, we cannot point out every ding, dent or mark.

Payment - Must be received within 5 days of the auction ending. We accept personal cheque, bankers draft, Bank transfer, paypal or cash on collection. Items will dispatched promptly when full payment has cleared.
Collection - We will warmly welcome anyone wishing to collect or view the furniture in our workshop showroom but may we request that you call us a few days prior, just in case it is in our store or located in our high street shop.
Delivery - United Kingdom Deliveries: Exeter/Plymouth area £20.00 delivered by ourselves. Outside this area - £40.00 U.K. mainland only. For Highlands, Islands and other hard to reach areas there may be an additional cost. Please contact us prior to bidding if you think this may apply to you. We use professional furniture carriers - Larger pieces of furniture will be delivered by two men and where possible, positioned in your home where you require.
Packing and Insurance - Your item will be packaged to protect it in transit. For your further piece of mind all deliveries are fully insured in transit and during delivery.
International Payment and Shipping
Payment - Please contact us at auction end to discuss the best method of payment.
Delivery - For larger items and pieces of furniture we always use professional fully insured international furniture removers and carriers to ensure your piece of mind. Due to the differing size and weights of our pieces we always quote on an individual basis to ensure the most cost effective method of transport.
