Genuine old love letter 1839 found in writing slope box

Lovely old love letter dated 1839 found in an old writing slope of that period. In good readable condition please see pictures which will tell you more than my words could. The letter was folded imaginatively for delivery and there are a couple of places where the paper has split slightly with the folds. General condition is very good.

The letter is addressed to Miss Jane Leslie Cooke Collis who was the daughter of Captain William Cooke Collis of the 62nd Regiment. (he was also a JP at this time).  Jane's mum was Elithabeth Geraldine de Courcy Atkin.  The letter is from the Reverend Jasper Alexander Grant and is dated  Wednesday September 25th 1839, just one month prior to Jane's marriage to the reverend.  The letter hints at the reverend's impatience in waiting for the marriage.  A very nice piece of social history  Details of these people can be found using the following link   http://thepeerage.com/p36762.htm
