FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITY IN CAR PARK MANAGEMENT AND ENFORCEMENT

How it works:

You choose the area where you want to start your franchise.

You will be responsible for building your own business with help, direction and support from us at CPS Midlands Ltd.

There are 2 million new cars arriving on our streets each year, housing and office developments spring up in every available space and this means that car parking spaces are at a minimum.  The people who do have car parking spaces want to keep them for their staff and more importantly, their customers!

We at CPS Midlands Ltd provide a professional service and genuinely strive to look after our customers needs!

We don’t clamp, we feel that clamping cars causes problems for all parties.  If a car is clamped it may take several hours to release it, the customer is still without the space and this could also cause possible confrontation to the customer and the returning Patrol Officer!

So how do you start?

You start your business by exploring your area and approaching potential clients, people who have had these rogue parkers on there land! Business premises, Pubs, shops, hospitals, university’s, halls of residence, flats anywhere where people leave there cars because it’s quick, easy and convenient for them.

You don’t have to be a dynamic sales person with a proven track record. At CPS Midlands Ltd, we don’t charge for our service, we provide the service, signage and the patrol free of charge for all the car park spaces that we look after directly.  As well as this, we make an effort to give something back to the customer.  For every Parking Charge Notice that is paid we sometimes give between 5% and 10% back to them on a monthly basis, a way of compensating them for their space being taken up by a rogue parker.  So in effect you can offer a full professional service free of charge and put money back in their pockets if you wish!

Once you have contracts in place you can start patrolling the space at whatever times suit you and your client or simply respond to them calling you to report a car parked which is not allowed.  The majority of car parks can be patrolled 24/7

When you attend you will issue a Parking Charge Notice (PCN), this is the same as a parking ticket.

When the PCN is paid you will receive £40.00, so if you issue twenty tickets, you receive £800.00. (Our top patrol officer issues 65 a week on average), this is dependant on the number of car parks you look after, more car parks equal more tickets.

The Franchise:

As a Franchisee, when you bring on your new contracts you buy the signage, ticket books, ticket wallets and permits from us, erect the signs and begin.  There is no minimum order, so if your fist car park needs four signs then you can just order four signs.

Any motorists who are issued with a PCN will either make a payment to our main payment office on your behalf or write in to us with an appeal, which we will deal with for you.

Any motorist who chooses to ignore your PCN will be sought by us, right up to and including legal proceedings in order to obtain your payment.  To this end it is of paramount importance that the sites and the process are all set up correctly, any procedural failures will result damage to any legal case.

We are established in the Midlands area with over 6 years of experience.  This area is not available and we will protect your area in the same way.

It can take several months and several thousand pounds in set up costs for this operation, but you will benefit from the work we have already done and be ready to go from day one.

You will benefit from:-

1.         Minimal set up costs, you use our established offices, stationary etc. so you    have minimal costs operating from home.

2.         We will always have signage, ticket books, ticket wallets, logo etc available to you.

3.         We will always be at the end of the phone for advice.

4.         You benefit from our payment system set up; people will telephone us to make card payments.

5.         We handle all appeals and legal enforcement work for you.

6.         Personal training available should the phone mentoring not be sufficient.

7.         You benefit from our DVLA links and we are registered for data protection.

Obviously you won’t have a hundred car parks in a day, but you build them up over time, with a target of say one or two per week.  You will find that some car parks generate as little as one ticket per two weeks and some can generate twenty per week, they are all different and we can help with targeting and techniques.

What does it cost?

The initial fee is £249.00; you will need a mobile phone, your own transportation and internet access to communicate with us on a weekly basis for payments etc. The costs for your signage and ticket book etc., are not up front as you can buy these as you need them, per contract!

PERMITS                                £    50p each (sell to clients for £2 or £3 each)
