Geistlicher Schild Gegen Geist - Und Leibliche Gefahrlichkeien Allzeit Bey Sich Zu Tragen 18th Century Manuscript Book with Watercolour Illustrations.

A very pretty miniature manuscript book, 117pp in red and black with 25 circular pen and ink and watercolour illustrations. Probably German in origin c.1747. Bordered pages, p. 77 with part of page torn away with loss to text and one illustration (not counted in total), last page offset and browned throughout, other small faults at the end. New endpapers and bound in modern half camel with antelope label on spine by John Field.

Approx.105x76mm., a most handsome little book.
