These ingenious ‘waterers’ help keep your plants continually moist.
Simply screw them onto plastic water bottles and push into the soil
to slowly release water. Moisture is continually delivered deep into the
root system. Plant food and nutrients can be added to the water, if desired.

My tip for best use:

The spikes have three small outlet holes where the liquid is dispatched.

On some of my plants where I want to slow down the flow, especially at

holiday breaks, I use insulating tape or sellotape wrapped not to tightly

and they work a treat. You have complete control on regulating the liquid outage;

do not be afraid to experiment to obtain the best results.


These watering spikes are ideal for tomatoes, cucumbers etc, all plants that rely on a lot of water.
