Sole:
• EPS Carbon Fibre Sole - Carbon fibre sole ensures light weight and complete stiffness to maximize the power transfer to the pedaling action. The ultra-thin layer allows the foot to be positioned at a minimum distance from the pedal’s pivot pin thus assuring a round pedaling motion without energy loss. Front and back rubber anti-skid walking inserts. The back insert is replaceable. Moulded ventilation channels. The sole compatible with the most available quick-release pedals.

Upper:
• Air Ventilation System - One-piece front minimizes stitching to provide the most comfortable fit. Innovative laser perforations guaranty optimal ventilation and climate for the foot. Internal in-step mesh provides optimal stability and support.

Closure System:
• 2D Micro Adjustable Aluminium Buckle - Provides a secure and personalized closure with optimal on-the-bike adjustability. One of the most technologically advanced systems on the market, the 2D buckle is micro-adjustable and finished in satin aluminum. The micro buckle features two independent levers working against the indented buckled strap for customized tension and release for each rider.
• A.I.C.S. Adjustable Instep Closure System - Adapts the shoe to all foot morphologies assuring constant support. This new closure system made from high-strength PU is positioned across the foot and comprised of two micro-adjustable ratchets to adjust instep tension while maintaining proper support and fit.
• Safety Lock Strap System - Innovative closure system patented by Gaerne. Features indented straps below each mid and forefoot Velcro closure to prevent loosening and to maintain a secure fit at all times.

Comfort:
• Heel Grip - Newly patented by Gaerne, the Heel Grip adapts the shoe to the exact morphology of the rider. The inside of the heel cup features a special material (Memory Cell Interior Foam) which forms to the individual characteristics of the rider’s heel, preventing slippage and providing optimum comfort. Due to the indestructible nature of the Memory Cell Foam this feature will remain unaltered for the life of the shoe.
• Heel Cup - All-new injection-molded plastic anatomic heel-cup will not deform or weaken. Anti-tendonitis form with internal non-slip treatment for the best foot stability and control. Reflective inserts provide maximum visibility in low-light conditions.
• Insole Transpirant Leather - Made of natural leather with a special anatomic design conforming to foot for optimal comfort.Features micro-perforations for ventilation.
