I
NEVER charge handling, and I always ONLY ask you for actual shipping
costs!! I will combine shipping for the ACTUAL costs. There is an .18 charge that paypal charges for a
first class confirmation that I cannot "uncheck" that, and it is
included in the shipping charge. It makes it so much easier for me to
print the postage online and get it to you faster since I do not have
to stand in line at the post office.
Insurance
is recommended. I will not be
responsible for items that are lost during shipping if you do NOT
insurance. International buyers.... I DO OFFER insurance of .95 for
Canada (up to $50, and it is a little more over $50) and other
countries are usually around 1.60, sometimes more and over $50 is a
little more too. So please take advantage of this and let me send you
an invoice first.
Here
is where it gets techinical..... bear with me, yeah, bear.....
grrrrrr.... because I actually HAVE to put this in writing! You will
get a little humor out of it I am sure! I feel like an idiot for doing
this, but I think it needs to be said in behalf of myself and other
sellers who are not getting a good "star" rating and do not deserve
that. (FEEL FREE TO COPY THIS FOR YOUR SELLING PAGES!) For those of
you, that this DOES NOT apply to, please forgive the rant:
US buyers skip following 3 paragraphs.
This is a legally binding agreement,
and you will pay for the international costs of shipping if you are in
another country. NO ARGUMENTS! I don't have some secret connection with the Post Office to purposely overcharge for shipping overseas! How would that benefit me if it cost you too much to buy from me? ** (Canadian buyers: I am sorry I cannot
accept Canadian cash as I have no where to exchange it.) As for my
other wonderful Canadian buyers....THANKS FOR THE GREAT SMOOTH
TRANSACTIONS! Please note, if you are an international buyer and shipping takes longer or costs more...... uh, because you are in another country, please do not give me bad marks on shipping costs and timing with that star system that is there during feedback. I do NOT charge anyone extra for shipping or handling.
I also ship the DAY or the next day I am paid. If you choose
first class intern'l to save money on shipping, great!! BUT.....
remember, it can take up to a few weeks! (at times up to 6 weeks on rare occasions. Please understand that delivery time is out of my control once the package goes in the mail box. (priority international costs
more and it is usually less than a week) HONESTLY, I
do not siphon the gas out of the plane flying these items to you, or
kidnap the delivery man just to make it take longer and make you suffer.

ALSO to only those who this may apply to......U.S. buyers: If you are bidding on several items and I HOLD your auction to save you money on shipping, (so you can continue to shop, as you requested)
again, please don't give me a bad rating on shipping time or rates since
I can't send items BEFORE I am paid or before you are done shopping. Also, when you buy several
1st class items......... they can add up to priority weight..... it is
a whole mathematical thing!
This star system
is designed for those sellers who overcharge shipping on purpose to
save ebay fees, or are bad at sending items out for days and days and
days after they are paid for. (BUT if there IS a seller who tells you that they only mail items once or twice a week, you cannot hold that against them!) THE
POINT
of the star system is: From the POINT you paid to the time your item
(s) are shipped (you will see "item shipped" in your ebay page)......
then
rate.
I do not charge for handling, I do NOT ask a flat rate per item and
I ship within 24 hours during the week. I do not mail items on Sunday (kind of pointless), so if you pay for an item on Saturday, I will mail it first thing on Monday. I do not do much with ebay on Sunday, since I need a break after working 6 days. :) At times I still answer emails. I WILL ALWAYS SHIP FIRST CLASS IF THE TOTAL WEIGHT IS 13
OUNCES OR LESS PER THE USPS prices, unless you want priority, and then please let me know and I can send you an invoice with the proper postage. If you see the item is 4.75,
that is because it weights OVER 13 ounces and under 16 ounces. I have a scale and I am
doing my best to save you money.
For
those of you who have treated me fairly, thank you and I am sure you
are laughing your head off at this point, blown away that I have to put
this in my auction! My good customers know that I pride myself on good
shipping time and rates!! I HAVE RETURNED money to those who accidentally over paid for shipping! I will always do that! :) Sorry about the rant, I just get upset when my stars are "lacking" lol!
THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS MEANT TO EDUCATION SELLERS AND BUYERS...... IT SURE DID EDUCATE ME!!: From 1 to 13
ounces, there is a NEW .33 postal charge by USPS for a "thick envelope"
or "package". The "regular" rate you see is for FLAT items. This is
a new one to me! I have included that .33 charge in the shipping, that
is why it looks different than what we are all used to seeing as far as "rates" per ounce! So those of you who are selling, make sure you have the "thick envelope" option checked.
IF YOUR STUFF FITS INTO A FLAT RATE BOX AND IT IS CHEAPER FOR YOU TO HAVE IT SHIPPED TO YOU THAT WAY, I WILL DO THAT FOR YOU. :)
SELLERS:
IF YOU HAVE A SMALL THIN ITEM, CRUMPLE UP A PIECE OF PAPER TO MAKE THE PACKAGE THICKER, OR THEY WILL ACTUALLY CHARGE YOUR CUSTOMER A PRIORITY PRICE IT IF IS UNDER 3/4" SINCE THEY THINK IT IS A LETTER. WHY? BECAUSE OF USPS DEAL WITH EBAY AND PAYPAL. THEY HAVE AGREED TO CHARGING .18 FOR DELIVERY CONFIRMATION WITH FIRST CLASS, WITHOUT THE TYPICAL UPCHARGE TO PRIORITY AS WITH A REGULAR ENVELOPE/LETTER.
I SENT A PAIR OF LITTLE GIRL NWT PANTIES TO A CUSTOMER, AND BECAUSE IT WAS SO THIN, THEY MADE HER PAY AN EXTRA 3.00 TO UPGRADE IT FROM THE 1.52 FOR THE 2 OUNCE WEIGHT IT SHOULD HAVE COST TO SEND TO HER, TO PRIOIRITY! WHY, BECAUSE WITH A LETTER, YOU HAVE TO DO PRIORITY TO GET DELIVERY CONFIRMATION! (YEAH, LIKE DELIVERY CONFIRMATION IS EVEN WORTH THE .18 ANYHOW!)
I am actually pretty easy
going, I just have to be very
clear on a few things. I sell only items I myself would buy on ebay!
