In GUNS OF WILL SONNETT, three-time Academy Award-winner Walter Brennan, one of the cinema's greatest actors, plays an aging but still active gunslinger searching the Old West for his son (Jason Evers). His grandson (Dack Rambo) rides with him on his quest and shares his adventures and showdowns with such guest stars as Jack Nicholson, Jack Elam, Claude Akins, Charles Grodin, Harry Dean Stanton, Cloris Leachman, Strother Martin, and Joan Blondell. The superb acting and penetrating adult scripts make this fast-paced series a gripping classic, and the fascinating premise of an elderly gunfighter as the lead character (Brennan was 73 when the series began) gives us all hope for continued relevance as we age.
