Shipping InfoWe arrange the shipping of all our goods via a specialist courier, KWS Couriers, Direct Dial 07771 744 067 We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment, your item will be dispatched as soon as possible. Furniture is typically large, heavy and fragile. Because of this, shipping is slower and more expensive. Please note, KWS Couriers will provide one man, and one van only. You will need to assist with unloading. Hilldown take bookings for convenience only, though you are more than welcome to arrange your own courier. KWS Couriers reserve the right to refuse a delivery at any time. Should this occur, we will attempt to make alternate arrangements. If this isn't possible, and/or shipping increases, all and any further costs will be passed to the customer, unless the customer makes their own arrangements. Shipping fees are subject to VAT. Shipping will be arranged within 21 working days on all second hand items, with an average turn around of 7-10 days. Shipping will vary on new items, some may take longer, but this will be clearly specified. Items are shipped on a "group basis". You will be informed of the delivery before it is delivered. Please wait for the couriers to be in touch. The Couriers will require your telephone number to ship the items, and will require delivery instructions. Please provide this to Hilldown as soon as is possible. Toll roads and fees will be paid for by the customer, including the London Congestion Charge.

Please do not just turn up, as items need to be prepared before they leave us, and somebody may not be available for you. Monday - Friday 9.30 - 6pm. Saturday collections are now available by appointment only, and collections are to be made within 5 days, during working hours, unless agreed before hand. Please let us know when you plan to arrive, so that we can esnure someone is here for you, and so not to waste a trip!

ReturnsGenuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. We welcome inspection of all second hand items BEFORE purchase is agreed. Second hand items will always show wear, especially when most have an average age of 15-20 years. We would recommend that you buy Brand new if this is a concern. We will never intentionally mislead, and must make it clear that items of age will show wear, which is a sought after feature of the Chesterfield. Our descriptions are Very accurate, you can rely on this. We have a 14 day, "no quibble" policy, where we will exchange items if you are not satisfied. Courier charges are non-refundable in all circumstances. Brand New items: If an item is faulty, we will arrange a repair/replacement as necessary. Please return unopened goods within 14 days of receipt. Return costs are to be paid by the customer. Opened items will be deemed "used" and are not returnable unless faulty. Helpful Links
