NEW VERSION 11, NEW FEATURES!!!
Version 11A:
2 distinguishable inputs (1x positive triggered, 1x negative triggered)
1 output (Remotely controllable via text message, activated when dialler is triggered)
Version 11B:
4 distinguishable inputs (2x positive triggered, 2x negative triggered)
3 outputs (Remotely controllable via text message, activated when dialler is triggered)
Overview:
If your alarm is triggered, the system will immediately send a text message and/or call up to 10 numbers in priority order. You will have peace of mind you know your house has not been broken into, or you will be informed straight away if your alarm has been set off even if you are not within hearing range of it. A text message of your choice can be sent in case you are already on the phone, have call divert activated or are in a meeting and are unable to take a call. The default for this text is "Alarm Triggered Input 1", "Alarm Triggered Input 2" etc. The output device is switched on when the alarm has been triggered, which could be a siren or strobe etc. You can specify the number of times the dialing/text messaging sequence is repeated for each time the alarm is triggered, between 1 and 9 times for each time the alarm is triggered. If you set this to 0, the dialler will repeat the dialing sequence forever until the alarm has stopped sounding, however you can interrupt this between each dialing sequence by turning the dialler off by text message. All programming for the alarm is controlled via text message, and protected by an 8 digit passcode which can be changed if required.
Installation/Compatibility:
Installation is simple with only three wires to connect (2x power + 1x alarm) and will work on any alarm which has a 12v siren/bell, or has a relay which switches when the alarm is triggered. As the system is designed by us we can reprogram the text message to say exactly what you want it to say. If your alarm does not run off 12v or does not have the above connections, please contact us with your alarm make/model and we can configure the system to work with your alarm.
The dialler can also be used as a standalone unit by connecting a PIR or doorswitch etc to the dialler. The dialler can be turned on or off via text message so there is no need to install an expensive alarm system.
Features:
· 8MHz processor
- V11A: 2 inputs (1x positive triggered, 1x negative triggerered)
V11B: 4 inputs (2x positive triggered, 2x negative triggerered)

FAQ’s:
Can I change the sim card myself?
All sim cards need to be individually programmed before the unit is shipped, so we seal the unit once the sim has been installed to prevent it from being changed. Inserting a non-programmed sim card into the dialler will void your warranty and the dialler will only work with a pre-programmed sim card.
How do I know when the sim is low on credit and how do I top it up?
Depending on the service provider you will usually be sent a reminder to top your sim card up when your credit is running low. This text message is forwarded to the first number on the list, so you know when it is running low. All service providers allow the sim to be topped up without removing the sim from the box; generally this can be done on the internet or via the phone.
Is there a way to stop the dialing sequence when I have received the text/call?
You can change the number of times the dialler will repeat its dialing sequence, from 1 to 9 times. Once set this cannot be interrupted, and after the dialing sequences are complete the dialler will wait for the alarm to be reset until it will respond to any text messages. However if you set this to 0, the dialler will repeat its dialing sequence forever until the alarm has stopped sounding. Text messages are read between each dialing sequence, so once you have received the text/call, simply turn the dialler off via text message and it will stop dialing as soon as it completes its current dialing sequence.
Is there a voice message if I select a landline to be called?
There is no voice message at present, the facility to call a landline is intended as a backup in case your mobile has no signal, you cannot take the call or your battery has gone flat. Many landlines now accept text messages; the dialler can also send texts to these numbers. If you have caller display it would be an idea to store the dialler number into your phone as “House Alarm”, “Car Alarm” or whatever you decide to install it in. This is ideal for seeing that your alarm has been triggered on a landline.
How long does each call last?
The dialler will wait 25 seconds from making the call to hanging up; this is long enough for the phone to ring several times, then it will hang up and make its next call or send its next text message.
How quickly will I be informed?
This depends on your network. If the sim in the alarm is the same network as your phone, this can be within two seconds from the alarm being triggered to you receiving the first text message or call. I have found Vodafone to be the quickest network overall. All networks will generally connect within ten seconds; the delay depends entirely on the speed of the network.
Which network is the best to use in the dialler?
This depends on the coverage in your area. Coverage can be found on most of the network providers websites, so it is best first to choose one that has a decent signal in your area, then make the final decision by cost. If speed is an issue for you, it may be an idea for you to choose a network which is the same as your mobile, as calls and texts within the same network are quicker that cross-network calls and texts.
Will the dialler retry if it has a temporary lapse of network coverage?
If your dialler loses signal or runs out of credit completely, the dialler will retry once every three seconds to send the text message, until it is sent. If the dialler cannot make a call due to the dialler having no signal, it will only try once before proceeding to the next text or call on the list. This is because in low signal areas (where there is enough signal to display the network on the screen but your signal indicator is on zero), due to how the GSM network operates it may be possible to send a text message but not have enough signal to make a call. In this case the dialler will send all the text messages but be unable to make any calls. The dialing sequence will be repeated however many times you specified, so if the signal is regained by the next dialing sequence the calls will also come through.
Can anybody intercept my dialler if they know its mobile number?
All programming is protected by an 8 digit passcode, so anyone trying to tamper with the dialler will need to know both the mobile number of the dialler and your 8 digit passcode. The first 40 characters of each text sent to the dialler are forwarded to the first number on the list, so if someone else is sending texts to the dialler you will know their number and what kind of text they are trying to send. Therefore they will have pretty much no chance whatsoever of tampering with your alarm.
What happens if I call my dialler?
The phone will just ring but it will not be answered, as all programming is done via text message. This is an ideal way to make sure your dialler has signal once installed.
If I forget my 8 digit passcode will the dialler be useless?
You cannot program the dialler without the passcode; it will still work if your alarm goes off, but if you want to reprogram the dialler you will need the passcode. If you lose it please contact us to return the dialler for a reset. There is however a charge for this service. If you have lost the mobile number of the dialler also, just set your alarm off and it will call you, providing it has been programmed correctly.
How do I remove a number from the dialing list?
This is fully described in the instructions, but you need to replace each number with zeros.
Can I program all the numbers in one text message?
Each number must be programmed individually, as the dialler has validation checks built into it. Confirmation text messages are sent back for each number, so you should wait until this is received before programming the next number. It does take longer but this ensures your dialler has been programmed correctly.
I have a PDA and cannot program the alarm?
A minority of PDA’s have a different text message format to standard mobiles so they cannot be used to program the dialler. In this case you should use a standard mobile phone to program the dialler. Once programmed, the dialler can text and call the PDA as if it was a normal mobile phone.
