On offer is this comical grotesque Aller vale art pottery winking cat with slip decoration.

Superbly decorated in vivid colours, making him really stand out from others.

Dating from around 1900.

Impressed Aller Vale to back foot.

No chips, cracks or restoration. However one of his back feet has been broken off and glued back on. An easy restoration job, or fine as is.

Measuring 22cm tall and 16cm long.

A: Hi, his glass eye is missing. The white coloured line is a drip of household gloss paint, i hadnt noticed it ! It picked straight off with my fingernail, there is now no trace of it. Thanks for pointing it out.
