First Published by Rochester Press, Upchurch, Kent in 1984 as part of their Bus transport series. This large format (trimmed page size 297 x 210mm) is a 96pp large format paperback, includes 190 b/w photographs and a two-colour gloss laminated cover. The Book With its copious illustrations depicting the vehicles from the varied operators which came together as the Greater Manchester Transport undertaking. It is an excellent camera study of the vehicles that ran on these routes. Leyland Titans, Crossley Condors, AEC Regents, Atlanteans and more recently the Fleetlines. The book shows that there is much history behind the orange, white and brown liveried buses that made the company what it was. Chapters include:
