A great 60mm Refractor 700mm telescope made by Celestron / Tasco on a motorised GOTO mount.
The STARGUIDE 60 GOTO is a high quality Refractor telescope with a computerised & motorised GOTO mount set-up, controlled by a STARGUIDE hand controller. This set-up allows you to automatically find and track thousands of stars, nebulae & planets from it's database. It is in excellent condition and comes complete with 2 eyepieces (10mm & 20mm), red-dot finder, hand controller, tripod, GOTO mount & Battery pack (uses 8x AA). You can also run it from a 12v DC adapter / car adapter. These scopes were designed by Celestron and are the same as the NexStar scopes.
An ideal "grab and go" scope that gives excellent views and stable tracking. The ability to find any one of thousands of stars, DSO or planets is amazing, and works well once aligned, using the easy set up. The system will keep the object in the centre of the eyepiece as it tracks the object.
The stable GOTO mount could lso be used to upgrade your mount to give your current telescope GOTO capability with a small adaptor from BAADER PLANETARIUM. You could use it with other Refracters or a medium size MAK.
Pick-up only due to weight.
