HAND PAINTED OVER TRANSFER SMALL CERAMIC PITCHER c1850
An absolutely delightful small early 19th century hand painted over transferware ceramic pitcher. The pitcher stands just 2 1/2 inches tall. The scene features a couple walking along a lane from a farm house and a solitary fisherman at a pool. Some loss of gilding to the small handle and very minor loss to decoration. No chips, cracks or nicks. This is a fabulous eye catching piece.
