GORGEOUS ART NOUVEAU ANTIQUE FRENCH PETITE SILVERED URN

This is a charming petite antique French Art Nouveau urn.

It has been usd in the past as a small planter but would be superb for any period display and could be divine on a table for bonbons etc.

It is a heavyweight piece that I think is silvered spelter.

Decorated with scrolling flowers and acanthus leaves it has a small hole in the base where it was used as a planter but this does not detract.

The handles are agin scrolled and embellished with acanthus curls and the urn stands on 4 scrolled feet.

The measurements are:

Width across from handle to handle 6 and 1/2" (16.5cms)

Height 3" (7.5cms)

Depth 3" (7.5cms)

There are no cracks or repairs and the urn is solid and strong.
