Dating from the early 1900s this is a batch of 10 antique French business cards for the lingerie shop of Madame Halut in Cherbourg.

She advertises: "Chemises Americanees & combinations"!!

Each card, with beautifully-scrolled lettering in black on creamy buff, measures 12cms x 8cms.

Superb old display pieces for any shabby chic decorative project.

POSTAGE 1. When despatching packages world-wide, there is always the risk that a parcel may go ‘missing’ in the post. That risk of the possible loss of a parcel is one which I deem as being accepted by the buyer when bidding in my auctions. If not acceptable, please do not bid. 2. For all parcels weighing over 2 kgs. a proof of postage with online tracking facility is always obtained. For parcels weighing under 2 kgs, I shall not obtain a proof of postage certificate unless the buyer specifically asks for one. This would incur a £2.50 fee. 3. Should any problem subsequently arise over non-delivery/loss of a package, I am happy to provide the buyer with a copy of the proof of postage to allow him/her to take the matter up directly with the postal/delivery service involved - and I will assist all I can in that process. However, I should make it clear that I do not make refunds for undelivered parcels, whether a proof of postage has been obtained or not. 4. For any item, the winning bidder always has the option to ask for additional insurance against breakages*/loss etc..
