An all brass travelling or vernier microscope in good optical and mechanical order with its original black and natural livery (blemished). Horizontal and vertival movement of the microscope is by means of rackwork, position being measured using the silvered scales divided in mm. The microscope focuses by sliding. The low power eyepiece and objective are unmarked. The stage is engraved with F.E.Becker & Co Hatton Wall London No 178. It measures 14 x 5.5 x 12 inches (355 x 140 x 300mm) and weighs 4.4 kg. Shipping & handling will be £12 for a two day UK delivery; overseas more. No reserve.
