Victorian Sterling Silver Candlesticks

Made in Sheffield, by Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd, in 1883.

A Good and Heavy Pair of Corinthian Column Candlesticks Hall Marked Sterling Silver Candlesticks.  Made in Sheffield, in 1883, by Hawksworth in the absolute Classic Style.  With the unusual benefit of having two silver flame Finial inserts, posibly later but fit well, for when the sticks are empty.  These Corinthian Column Candlesticks filled, on square bases with beaded borders.   

Condition:

The Marks:  Rubbed.  Finials not hallmarked.  

The Candlesticks:  Fair.  Some splits and repairs.

  • Date letter Q                                  

Height:   Seven and a half inches      18.7cm
