 GOOD PAIR OF GEORGIAN SILVER & SHELL SPECTACLES

This is a very good pair of silver and shell spectacles.

They measure 4-3/8 inches across the lenses (110mm) the side struts measure 6 ½ inches when fully open.

On the inside of the strut is written Bradberry Patent Spectacles Maker 329 Oxford Street London.

The lenses have a blue tint, they have some scratches, but I would say light, and apart from a couple of extremely tiny score marks to the shell they are in very good condition, with both hinges and swivels are working well.

Age is circa early 19th century

This is one of two pairs we are offering at the moment.
