GOOD PAIR OF GEORGIAN SILVER & HORN SPECTACLES This is a good pair of silver and horn spectacles. Across the front they measure 4 ½ inches (115mm) the side struts are 4-1/8 inches (104mm) and the small end struts with the open ends are 2-7/8 inches (73mm) They are hallmarked, but I cant find a town mark, there's a Georgian head profile, the year stamp is the letter S and the makers mark is H I or I suppose I H Apart from some extremely fine scratches (not visible to the naked eye) the lenses are very good, the horn insets are good, and all the hinges are sound and work well...the overall condition is very good. Age is early 19th century. This is one of two pairs we are offering at the moment. Payment Methods: UK / Paypal / Cheques / P.O/ Bank Transfer. NON UK BUYERS / Paypal / Cheques & Money orders drawn on UK bank in Sterling GBP only Please view our other items Please add us to your favourites list PLEASE NOTE We do NOT end auctions early, or offer "Buy it Now" unless stated |
