The gold testing solution allows you to determine whether the item is either base metal, or 9ct or higher gold (it can't tell you the precise carat value).

Can also be used to determine if an item is silver or base-metal.

The bottle uses a patented single-drop technology which allows you to apply a very small precise quantity of testing solution. This means you should be able to test more than 400 items if used correctly. The bottle won't break if you drop it.

The testing solution is suitable for the professional jeweller or antiques dealer (not suitable for children due to the chemicals involved).
