A George III English sterling silver open salt, gadrooned borders, three pad feet, initialled underneath each foot and once to the body, made in London in 1776 by Nathaniel Appleton & Anne Smith.

At 2.4 inches / 6 cm in diameter, weight is 1.2 Troy oz / 38gm. Apart from wear commensurate with age, the condition is very good, one foot bent, very light bruising.
