You are bidding on one GIANT freshwater swan mussel grown in our nursery, enough for a small pond or a fish tank. Our swan mussels are at least 3 inches long.

These mussels are very beneficial to an aquatic ecosystem as they filter unwanted organic material from the water greatly improving its condition for other aquatic life. They will complement mechanical filtration providing a natural way to improve your water quality that is very ecologically friendly. When placed in a fish tank they also make a great feature in themselves.

All our molluscs are packed in crush proof containers and are wrapped in moist paper.  We have been sending mussels all over the uk since 1946.

Simply place the swan mussel into your pond or fish tank and it will begin to filter the water. COLD WATER ONLY.
