Originally intended as part of a scoring system, the board contains 4 JUMBO 70 mm 7 segment red LED's & 2 x 15 mm green LED's. There are no electronics on the PCB, so for experimenters, hobbyists and students an ideal opportunity for a UNIQUE fulfilling project. Something that you could look back in years to come - and say "I made that !".

As the display wiring on the PCB is configured in a 'multiplexed' form, the addition of a simple PIC or 'Stamp' type micro computer board with the appropriate software could produce a quality digital clock or timer. As shown in our simulated picture below, the green digits could show seconds or the date. All connections are brought out from the board by a standard 26 way (2 x 13) connector.
