Here we have a replacement compatible thermal fuse. This fuse is compatible with MK3.1, Mk3.1b and MK4 ghd's. The characteristics of the fuse exactly match those of the original thermal fuse found in the aforementioned model numbers. If your thermal fuse has become broken either due to wear or overheating then this will fix the problem with your ghd's. I cannot guarantee that if your fuse has blown that buying this item will GUARANTEE that it fixes your ghd's as there may be other problems that exist with your particular straighteners. If after fitting you find that this does not fix your problem then i can offer a full refund after the item is returned to me. Additionally if the fuse does not fix your ghd's then i also offer a repair service at a very good price. Details and pricing are available on request.

Fitting of the fuse into the straighteners is a relatively straightforward procedure but should only be carried out by a qualified electrician or similar skilled tradesman. As can be seen by the picture this fuse has ring crimps fitted on the wires which make the installation procedure extremely easy. Only a very small number of tools are required for the job. Please note that there is NO soldering involved in replacing the fuse which makes it much easier to fit. Instructions are available upon request after a purchase(s) has/have been made.

I cannot be held responsible for any actions resulting from the fitting of this fuse, if in doubt about fitting safely then please either get in touch with me and i can arrange to have the item sent to me and fit the fuse professionally for you, bearing in mind there will be a surcharge for this service, the price of which is available by request, or contact a qualified electrician to carry out the work for you.

The design of my usual thermal fuses has been changed ever so slightly due to certain items used in the manufacturing process becoming obsolete. Have Redesigned them therefore for the better but they are still as good as they ever were. Please find a second photo to that effect which shows the new design.
