This is an official commerative book issued in 1937 to commemorate the coronation of Their Majesties King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on May 12th.

Year of issue: 1937

Has more than 50 pages and numerous pictures lots of history about the royals

Book called: GEORGE VI KING AND EMPEROR

Inner cover has a printed plate reading: Metropolitan Borough of Greenwich and the name of the child the book was presented to.

The Foreward reads that these books were issues to all school children in Greenwich

The inner spine of the book has worn away - book in fair condition considering age - pages in tact - some slight ageing and browning to the inner pictures as you would expect.

Rare and hard to find - very collectable - antique
