Shaw On Stalin Published by Russia Today in 1941, 12 loose leaf pages (S5023) In this rare pamphlet, published when Britain was at war with Nazi Germany (and the Soviet Union had not yet entered the war), George Bernard Shaw outlines in a letter his supportive views of Stalin and the Soviet Union, and in a subsequent short question and answer session rebutts any suggestion that Stalin and the USSR are pro-German, but rather argues it has been Britains antagonistic and hostile treatment of the USSR since 1917 that has created problems in the relationship between Britain and the Soviet Union Condition of the pamphlet is generally a little poor, but is perfect as a reading copy or reference for study. The cover has some minor scuffs and blemishes, and some light nibbling along the edges, and their their is a small tear along the right hand edge of the title page, but all pages are intact. Their is some foxing to the inside pages, especially around the edges.
We take great care in packaging our books - first your book will be wrapped in bubblewrap, which protects the book and even keeps out any rain (in the event that it's raining when the postie delivers it!). Then we wrap your book in stiff cardboard, taking care to make sure all the corners are protected, and finally the package is wrapped in thick brown paper.
