A stunning vintage modernist sterling silver brooch by Arno Malinowski for Georg Jensen, Denmark

A classic and iconic Art Deco period Georg Jensen piece, this is design number 256 comprising a kneeling deer surrounded by stylised foliage within an oval frame.
 
Fully signed with the post-1945 oval maker's mark and, unusually, further small hallmarks around the circumference.
 
It measures approximately 4.5 cm in diameter and is in excellent original condition. There is some very light surface wear consistent with age and use, but nothing that remotely diminishes the visual impact of the piece. Please study all of the photos I have provided.
