CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Shopping at World Of Jeans should be nothing less than a pleasurable and easy experience.  Any misunderstandings or complications can usually be avoided by keeping the following points in mind:

1. CHOOSING TO BUY Please read my listings thoroughly including returns policy, shipping charges, delivery times etc.  Please calculate overall cost of item as item price + postage to avoid any disappointment.  If you are unsure/unhappy about any of my terms, postal prices etc. please do NOT bid on my items before getting in contact.

2. COMMUNICATION Ebay Messages are there for buyers and sellers to communicate.  Should you have any query or complaint about my listings or the buying process, please get in touch BEFORE bidding or purchasing and definitely before leaving negative feedback.  I am not always able to answer all messages same day but will always give a response and offer return/refund for any item you are very unsatisfied with.  Please use only Ebay messages for correspondence as I am not able to respond through multiple email addresses.  Please allow more time for questions over weekend period.  Ebay sellers need a break like everyone else!

3. ITEM DESCRIPTION World Of Jeans is predominantly a second-hand/vintage clothing business. Apart from sunglasses which are brand new, all of my clothing and other items are used. I always mention any wear or tear and 'excellent' condition should be taken to mean excellent, used condition.  Some slight signs of washing etc. may be present in used articles.  Very occasionally, items may be found to have some major fault which has not been described eg. a tear, a missing button.  This is only to be expected when clothes are vintage or pre-worn as no item is identical and sometimes faults can be missed.  I am happy to refund any such items if contacted through Ebay messages.

4. DESPATCH/DELIVERY TIME I aim to post all items within 48 hours of payment being received. With 1st class postage being one full working day, items for delivery in UK should generally be received within 3 – 4 working days of payment. However, during busy times, Bank Holidays and over weekends, this may increase so please allow up to 5-7 calendar days for delivery. Example: Payment received late Monday, item will be posted on Tuesday and will arrive on Thursday. Payments received on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, items will generally only be posted on the Monday.  First class postage does not infer next day delivery!  If you need Special Delivery, get in touch and this can be arranged at cost.  If outside the UK, allow 7 – 10 days total for delivery.  Should item(s) not arrive within these time frames, please get in touch. I cannot help if I do not know item has not been received.

5. SALES AND RETURN POLICY World Of Jeans aims to provide high quality used items at a fraction of the original retail price. Every effort is made to make sure that items are described as accurately and as fairly as possible. Each item is normally checked by at least two people before despatch. However, due to our high volume of sales, there may occasionally arise instances where refunds may be warranted. These would be if there was a gross inaccuracy or oversight in the item listing or if the item was found to have a major or unacceptable fault which was not described in the listing. While every effort will be made to resolve and compromise on any other customer concerns/grievances, we cannot offer refunds if the item simply doesn't fit, it turns out not to be to the buyer's taste or the item was damaged in transit. It is up to the bidder to find out as much as they can about the item (and their own measurements!) BEFORE bidding as we are always on hand to answer your questions and to, if possible, find what you are looking for!

6. FEEDBACK AND ABUSIVE MAIL I will not respond to abusive or threatening messages, demands for payment or unreasonable complaints.  Nuisance buyers and non-paying timewasters will be reported to Ebay without fail.  Think carefully about whether you really want the item and are able to pay for it before bidding.  Unreliable, unpleasant buyers, as well as sellers, make Ebay a less enjoyable experience and affect everyone negatively.  There should be no reason to leave negative feedback. I am willing to communicate on any problem that may arise.
