GENUINE ARMY GEAR OIL OEP 220 SAE80W-90 Axles t-box etc

 This is a 25 Litre tub of surplus gear oil, type OEP220 army spec., which is equivalent to SAR80W-90. This is surplus stock from the MOD, which is past its best before date by MOD standards. (If this concerns you at all, please do not buy) Tins are all unopened and sealed.

I know this is the specified oil for many applications on various old and new landrovers and various tanks and MOD vehicles, and if you have found this, you probably know what you are looking for.

The intended use is listed as follows:
Lubrication of automotive hypoid gear units, heavy duty industrial type enclosed gear units, steering gears and fluid lubricated universal joints of automotive equipment, operating over the temperature range of minus 15°C to 130°C. Note: This oil may not be suitable for use in systems containing gears or bearings made from copper alloys.  If the bulk temperature of the oil exceeds 130°C, there is a risk that some decomposition of EP additives may occur.
