Contents include a brief yet comprehensive historical & topographical account of the town & immediate neighbourhood.

Also includes the names of streets with the number of houses in each together with the names of those carrying on a trade or profession. An alphabetical arrangement of the professions & trades with a reference to the number & street where either is carried on.

A list of coaches, waggons & carts with the distance from Brighton to the place of destination, to which is added a list of noblemen & gentlemen, residents in Brighton & others not engaged in trade.

Also an account of all the public offices & places of worship, times of service etc. It also contains some images of lovely sketch drawings of the area namely
