BOULDER OPAL

This GEM cut boulder opal

weighs 24.50 carats and the scale used is in millimetres.

Its dimensions are 27.5mm x 15.6mm x 7.4mm.

This opal is from the surrounding fields of Koroit Queensland.

This beautiful dark glossy boulder opal has swirls of deep blues across its face. To me, boulder can look its best set in yellow gold but am inclined to think that silver or white gold would really enhance the natural beauty of this stone.

Every opal I cut and sell, and set on ebay is a solid, natural, untreated stone.

These photos have been taken under 12v 20 watt halogen bulbs and have not been enhanced. I do not use flash in any of my photos.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase I will refund you the full purchase price providing I receive the opal back in it's original condition.
