However, the postal service is not always as efficient and careful, as we would like them to be. To avoid possible disappointment I strongly recommend that you take advantage of my in-house insurance scheme.
Terms and Conditions
Protection cover for all purchases up to the maximum consignment value £500 may be purchased for a fee of £3.50. Mandatory on all Parcelforce deliveries.
Stamps n All (eBay ID stampsnallsports) shall pay compensation to the Customer for loss or damage to any purchase up to the final bidding / selling price of the item when sold on eBay.co.uk or its own website.
Our compensation liability covers only the safe delivery of the goods purchased from despatch to the items final destination and will require a signature upon delivery.
Once a lot has been delivered and accepted, no further claims will be accepted and I am not responsible for any damage or loss sustained thereafter.
Packages received in a damaged condition must be signed for as damaged and all packaging retained for possible inspection.
I must be notified of any claim for compensation within 48 hours of receipt of the package.
Any claim for damage compensation must be accompanied by photographic or other evidence, if required. Compensation will not be paid if the Customer cannot produce such evidence if requested.
Any compensation paid out under these terms and conditions will be limited to the repair costs of the item(s) damaged or, if they are lost or damaged beyond repair, the final bidding price originally realised on eBay.co.uk or my own website.
Any claim for loss compensation will be deemed null and void should the delivery address sent by the customer be found to be incorrect or different from the address where the item was to be sent, i.e. mail forwarding or re-direction.
Stamps n All (eBay ID stampsnallsports) reserve the right to refuse to offer insurance if they so wish.
Stamps n All (eBay ID stampsnallsports) shall not be liable (Whether for the payment of compensation or refunds or otherwise) for any failure or delay in delivery which may result from any circumstances outside their control, i.e. floods, accident, acts of God etc.
Stamps n All (eBay ID stampsnallsports) will only offer insurance cover on items, which are packed to our specifications using the appropriate packing materials and casings.

It is time that stamp collectors and stamp users fought back. We are not given the option normally by the Post Office. They want us all to use computer generated labels. But if you ask nicely you'll be able to get good commemoratives ... and possibly even a circular date stamp! Depending on service used. This will in the long run help our vast number of charities raise money by improving the content of the stamps donated to them.
