Here is a G gauge, 4 axle U.S.A. style Steel panel box car, painted for the CHRISTMAS 1999 by LIONEL in the Original box. This is a commemorative car and will never be issued again. The number on the car is 7001. This Large Scale Christmas Boxcar has the item number (on the box) 8-87021.

It is in very good condition. It is so unused that the original clear plastic wrapping on each siding box car door is still there. The box shows a bit scuffing and creasing and has clear tape on it in several places.

As you know the Lionel Company no longer manufactures G gauge trains. Also, there will not be another 1999 car. Therefore, if you are interested in this car I suggest you purchase one now, rather then waiting for later.
