Absolutely beautiful early G plan piece with the gold E Gomme stamp in the top drawer, this version from the early G plan Fresco range is quite a seldom find, especially in this condition.

Made using a wonderful rich, warm coloured Teak veneer this is a heavy, well constructed piece which offers both storage and display opportunities.

There are two large drawers at the base of the piece, the top one containing a cutlery compartment with a Grey felt lining, which is lovely and clean and looks almost never to have been used.

Next to this is a drop down cupboard with a free space, there is some veneer that has been damaged on the inside of the cupboard door which looks to have been glued back into place, this does not affect the door in the least in terms of movement and there is no risk of further damage through normal use.

Above there is a large drop down drinks cupboard for which the the door when lowered can be used for serving drinks and next to this is a double cupboard with one long shelf.

The whole piece is finished off beautifully by sculpted Afrormosia curled under handles which are a fantastic design feature and the body itself sits on a wonderful Afrormosia leg base.

Condition is excellent, there are a few minor nicks here and there and some faint surface patina, certainly nothing to disappoint. These points have been clearly illustrated in the photos so please see these for the best description.

The winning bidder must email us with payment and collection details within 48 hours of auction end. If payment is not received within the 48 hours then this may result in the item being relisted.

If you intend to collect in person we can hold your item for 10 days free of charge. After this time all items will incur a £7 storage charge for each week or part week thereafter, unless other arrangements have been made with us.

Items awaiting collection via courier are will incur no storage charges.

You are of course welcome to either collect your purchase in person, or arrange your own courier service.
