G PLAN DESK/DRESSING TABLE

A sought after mid century dressing table and stool by G Plan in teak with orignal label as shown. The dressing table can be converted to a desk by removing the mirror (very straightforward) as shown in one of the pictures. The desk has a lovely clean teak grain and patternation with darker Afromosia banding and features scalloped handles, tapered legs and dovetailed drawers. The floating desktop sits above two banks of drawers and a central pull out drawer with inlaid black baize. The stool is covered in a white vinyl sitting above a typical G plan tapered base. A fantastic period piece and a unique focal point offered for sale as well as a very sought after and solid investment piece.

MEASUREMENTS

CONDITION

The desk is sturdy, solid, intact and very well looked after. All in all a practical piece of furniture and a fantastic period piece nearly 50 years old in great condition.
