G.B. Bell & Howell Model 627B 16mm Movie Camera. Twin Lens turret. Rare. Serial # E1347M. This camera is in great condition, some minor spots of paint missing, and very little wear. I have not ran film through this camera and so cannot guarentee it to be in operable condition (as with any device of this age it should be given a good look over by a qualified person before you make that best selling feature movie with it.)
It does appear to run at all speeds (8-48), sounds very smooth.
This camera was made in England around 1958. Not a lot of these around. Pretty rare camera.
Has an unprocessed roll of film inside. The reels say "Kodak Made in England".
Inside the cover it says this is a self lacing camera.
Comes with 2 clear finders, 1" & 3".
The leather strap is in great condition.
This camera comes with a case. This case is in great condition. Really nice black leather case, says "Homa Swiss Made" on the hardware. Handle is in great condition.
Comes with a 2.8" f2.8 Telekinic Lens Made by Taylor, Taylor & Hobson Ltd England. Ser # 500445. This lens is in good condition, Super clear,no scratches or cleaning marks on the front or rear elements but there is a very, very small chip on the inside lip of the front element, this will never be seen on film. I don't think I would have even noticed except for the aperture blade problem.There is no dust, no fog, and no fungus inside this lens. The aperture blades are dry and move very nicely, except for the fact that they are not correct. The aperture ring does not go to the 2.8 mark but the blades are wide open, and the ring goes a little past 32 and I don't think they are actually at 32. Maybe just an internal adjustment???
Also included is a working G.E. Exposure Meter type PR-1 ser#D61435, it comes with a lanyard and a leather case.
The camera stand in the photos is NOT included in this auction.

Q: This item is equivalent to the USA B&H model 240T. I suspect all the parts were made in USA and shipped to UK for assembly. (Or maybe it was vice versa, I don't know!) A: Thanks for the info.
