An opportunity to buy a Full sized 8" x 9" Half  Round  Solid Brass Sextant, which is  an extremely high quality reproduction of an original Vernier Sextant based an a  design bought in by Captain Cambell in the mid 1700's. This Sextant was based on an older instrument called a Octant and was used for celestial navigation.

While the Sextant is fully operational it is not certified for serious navigational purposes
