You are bidding for a full set of English Needles named Farmers' Fisherman's and Sportsmen's Repair Kit cost of 1/6. The wallet contains a useful range of needles said to enable the user to carry out nearly every repair job on the farmstead. They are of the best Redditch manufacture. The set includes a large needle with flattened and curving end used for sewing sacks and anything which requires the use of string. There is also a curved needle for the repair of upholstery, mats and lampshades or for materials which cannot be flexed by virtue of their nature or because they are in a fixed position. Set also includes a large Darner together with two smaller versions. There is also a bodkin with two eyes - one for tape or elastic - the other for finer threads. A medium sized Sail needle is included having a triangular point but with sharp edges used for sewing leather of moderate weight. The remainder is an assortment of Sharps for all normal sewing requirements. Free postage to winning bidder!
