French Louis XV Carved Tapestry Dressing Table Stool

Description: This is a lovely quality, tapestry upholstered, cherry wood cabriole leg French dressing table / piano stool from the early 20th Century. The stool stands on carved cabriole legs with scrolled feet rising over which are the serpentine side rails, with shaped mouldings, with a lovely red ground floral tapestry upholstered seat with multi-coloured piping, which is almost certainly original. The stool retains its original horsehair stuffing and webbing. A very attractive little stool in the Louis XV or Louis Quinze design. The stool has wonderful colour to the cherry wood. Date: The stool dates circa 1920s.
