The Salon Thing is a subsidiary Company of Elmwood UK,a family run business established in 1998.We're a genuine UK based company offering quality items at prices far cheaper than the high street and are committed to Total Customer Delight.We have supplied many of the UK Television Studios with our top quality products and also many of the prestigious Hairdressing salons in London including TaylorTaylor London.
We are regular visitors to the Cosmoprof Fair in Italy thus ensuring our range of products and furniture stays at the cutting edge of todays top designers and suppliers.We currently have warehousing covering a total of 15,000 square feet and are the UK & Irelands largest stockist of hairdressing and Barber Furniture and equipment.

We accept paypal or personal cheques or postal orders. Please make payable to thesalonthing and send to the address supplied with your invoice. Shipping

We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. We charge a postage fee only to cover our costs of materials and labour. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment, your item will be dispatched as soon as possible. Please allow extra time if you are paying by cheque.All these items are despatched each afternoon via Next Day 24hour delivery service-or by a 48hour pallet service depending on order size.Items that are paid for before 11.00am Friday are despatched 24hr service and therefore should arrive Monday. Each item will require to be signed for when delivered and will be delivered by Parcelforce Worldwide. If you are not in to take delivery the couriers will leave a card and you must phone the number on the card to let them know when you will be in. If they make two failed delivery attempts they will return the item back to us and you will have to pay a surcharge and again for the delivery.Please note it is necessary to check the goods for transit damage before signing the POD. We make every effort to make sure this arrives when it should but the service is not guaranteed and we do not take any responsibility for late delivery.
