This is a hardback published by Longmans, Green in 1927. 1st Edition. Translated by Frank Kemp. Preface by Geoffrey Winthrop Young. Introduction by the President of the French Alpine Club. Superb Illustrations throughout in heliogravure plus a coloured map.  170 pages. Indexed. No dust-jacket.

A beautiful book in very nice condition. Just the usual rubbing of spine ends and a few foxing spots to endpapers. The contents are tightly bound and clean throughout. No marks or inscriptions.
