Fox and Badger coaster

Lulu and Humbug, Both 8 weeks old.

This is a strong coaster with a picture of a fox and badger cub, the cubs in this picture are ones that we have looked after- their stories are as follows

Lulu the fox cub- Lulu was brought to us when she was 3 weeks old, we thought she was blind as she used to stare vacant in to space and she was very clumsy. We had her assessed by different vets over and over again but they kept saying her eyes were fine. We couldn't release her as we knew something was wrong? We decided to offer her a permanant home with our older fox Roxy, they were getting on great but then one day Lulu had a fit and she went nuts... We had to get the vet out and sadly she had to be put to sleep. The vet examined her and revealed she actually had a water on the brain.

Humbug the badger- Humbug again came to us at 3 weeks old, her parents had been killed and she had been attacked by a dog or fox.  She was in a bad condition when we had her and had to go on antibiotics, but unfortunatly she had a allergic reaction and lost all her fur..She has grown it all back and is fat and happy. She can't be released due to the fact that the allergic reaction has given her a skin complaint so every now and then she loses her fur and has to have medicated baths.

Lulu and Humbug were best of friends growing, but humbug is now happy with her new friend a yorkshire terrier, even tho Lulu will not be replaced.

The sanctuary helps alsorts of injured, sick and young wildlife and our aim is to get them back to the wild, we do have the odd occasion where we provide a safe haven to give them the life they deserve.
